Birkla has 21 years of real estate development, construction and property management experience. He has served as an executive at other development companies prior to the formation of Birkla Investment Group, LLC. (BIG). Birkla Investment Group is a real estate development company engaged in construction, ownership and asset management of Class A lifestyle residential projects in high barrier markets. Many of Birkla’ s developments are mixed-use in nature and incorporate office, retail and hospitality with multi-family use.

Today, Birkla is working diligently in the operation and growth of BIG and affiliates. He has developed thousands of units throughout his career, including the most recent, @580, a downtown Cincinnati high-rise with commercial, retail and multi-family components.

Outside of work, Birkla enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, competing in triathlons, playing golf, traveling and being an avid IU fan!
